Jazz, funk, and blues are treated as heritage — filed away, sanded down, formatted for background listening. Smooth jazz with corporate rules doesn't inspire anybody. It just sells.
But this music never stopped moving. Jazz didn't end in 1965. Funk didn't die with James Brown. Every era introduced the next one — roots feed branches. Holican Cultural exists to protect the knowledge, transmit it, and defend the right of living artists to take it somewhere new.
